A Journal-ish Post…?

Just saw Life of Pi, and I heartily recommend it not only for the gorgeous visuals and cinematography, but also there was a tiger and a whale and phosphorescence and it was fantastic. The acting was incredible too.

In other news, Galen and I had a cookie-baking date today, and although the cookies were left in the oven a little too long and ended up being more like biscotti, it turned out all right in the end mostly because of his Christmas presents to me (which I told him had better be good since his present from me was tickets to see Mumford and Sons in February):
